behavioral interview
Behavioral Interview
  • Interviewing based on discovering how the interviewee acted in specific employment related situations.
  • The logic is that how you behaved in the past will predict how you will behave in the future i.e. past performance predicts future performance.
exit interview
Exit Interview
  • A meeting between an employee who has resigned or been terminated and the company’s human resources department.
  • The reason companies conduct exit interviews is to get feedback about the job the employee held, the work environment, and the organization.
lunch and dinner interviews
Lunch and Dinner Interviews
  • Employers take job candidates out to lunch or dinner to evaluate their social skills and to see if they can handle themselves gracefully under pressure.
    • If you were at a dinner interview and you ordered a steak well-done and it was brought out to you rare, what would you do?
