  2. Preparation checklist • Research the company: its history, structure, personnel and goals. • Know the contents of your résumé well. • Prepare questions that you want to ask the interviewer. • Practise your interview skills. • Practise how you will answer particular questions.

  3. Preparation checklist • Make sure you know:  the time and place of the interview  the name and job title of the interviewer or the members of the interview panel.

  4. What to do in the interview • Predict possible questions. • Show that you really want the job. • Show that you are enthusiastic about what you have done and what you want to do. • Communicate your skills and abilities clearly. • During the interview, focus on the interviewers/s. In a panel, try to make equal amounts of eye-contact with each person. • Present yourself as being confident.

  5. Practice makes perfect! • Practise your interview skills with friends or family. • Video one or more of your role-play interviews and watch them carefully. • Learn from your mistakes.
