  1. Current situation of SMART • Very efficient • User-friendly • Major improvement, compared to JRA • Belgian research team appreciates the efforts that are put in the development

  2. Feedback from the Belgian team Suggestions

  3. Calculator problem (‘Auto Coding’) When working with different countries (i.e. Belgium and Luxemburg) and using a calculator with different rules for each country • Calculator problems in Linking and Pricing tab when Grouping is used: For example: when prices (incl. VAT) are filled in  Base price is not calculated Solution: ungrouping, re-running calculation of involved rule Time-consuming!

  4. Fleet options Is it allowed to link from a non-fleet option to a fleet option? Example: a non-fleet option excludes a fleet option Is it allowed to exclude the fleet option in the non-fleet option?

  5. Gross Vehicle Weight New rule: vehicle can not be commited with Full Specs data status and missing Gross Vehicle Weight In some cases the Gross Vehicle Weight is unknown Example: CNG versions of Iveco Daily Should these vehicles permanently remain in Key items data status?

  6. Former ‘compound cells’ Cells that used to belong to a compound cell in JRA • If the value of one of these cells is ‘std’, than the rest of the cells should remain blank • Confusing for new researchers • Does have an effect on completeness

  7. Re-commit of embargoed data Embargoed data needs to be re-commited after each cut-off date Possible to automate this at head office?

  8. Filtering of Q data When Q data is filtered in ‘key items’ and later filtered when ‘full specs’ is reached • Sometimes not possible (noticed by François Geunes)

  9. Saved groups Suggestions: • saved groups could be ordered alphabetically • renaming groups Very efficient: Sharing of groups!

  10. Missing links Are we allowed to use a field like ‘model text’ (under ‘version’) in our conditions to resolve the missing links?
