This prototype aims to provide real-time location information and interactive features for runners, walkers, spectators, and volunteers at marathons. Users can track their progress, connect with supporters, access race statistics, and receive audio feedback throughout the course. The device includes a 2" x 2" screen and caters to competitive athletes, displaying mile markers, water stops, and competitor rankings in addition to gun and chip times. A user study with local athletes helped refine the device's design for optimal use during races.
