  1. Projects is one of the sectors of the engineering department that is paid a great attention because it supports all other departments to achieve its requirements and goals easily and according to the global standards and specially API standards and in time although the time provided to it is limited and critical. Projects

  2. Why we start any project? There are many points that could lead to start a project The company's expansion, by starting up a new rig. The company's equipment upgrading, by installing a new equipment. Modification done to simplify and assist the operation of the rig and make it comply with the global standards, especially API standard. Problems facing operation or maintenance crew due to breakdowns Rig in time &Safely Professional personnel All Materials Needed The Time Frame Project planning Engineering department does believe that project planning is the key to succeed any project; projects can run on time and interact effectively with both operators and suppliers. Everyone involved understands what is wanted and emerging problems are foreseen (and dealt with) long before they cause damage. EXCUTE SELECT ISSUE Plan

Rig up project for the following rigs: Rig ..………………………………………start operation ST# 1 (2000 HP)……………………………January,2006 ST# 2 (1500 HP)…………………………....January,2006 ST# 3 (2000 HP)……………………………January, 2007 ST# 4 (2000 HP)……………………………September,2007 ST# 5 (1500 HP)…………………………..April ,2008 ST# 6 (1500 HP)…………………………..End of April ,2008 ST# 7 (1000 HP)…………………………..July ,2008 ST# 8 (1500 HP)…………………………..June,2008 ST# 9 (2000 HP…………………………...March, 2008 ST# 10 (1500 HP)……………………….....End of June,2008 ST# 11 (2000 HP)……………………….....End of Oct.,2008 ST# 12 (2000 HP)………………………….Febrauary,2009 ST# 21 (650 HP-work over)………………January, 2007 ST# 22 (650 HP-work over)………………November ,2007 ST#23 (650 HP-work over)………………End of March ,2008 ST#24 (650 HP-work over)………………End of August,2008 2-1 Sinotharwa Rigs

  5. Rigs Refurbishing • St1 Refurbished , April 2007 Upgrade the rig (Mast, substructure sandblast including MPI) Mud System modification &upgrading upon the operator needs & operation demands

  6. Rigs Refurbishing St2 Refurbished , December 2007 Modify the Rigs (Mast, sub base sandblast steel fabrications, renew rig floor including MPI) Fabricated high pressure mud pump lines & standard standpipe manifold

  7. No need for traditional Kelly Drill complete stand 2-2 Top Drive & new equipment installation Eliminates the hazard of Drilling operation Reduce the Drilling time By 30% Reduce man power • 2-1) Top Drive • Reasons to use Top Drive over classical drilling equipment

  8. So we • Install the Top Drive on the following Rigs: • (Varco TDS-11SA) • ST#1,3,4,5,6,8,12 • (Tesco ECI900 ) • ST#9,10,11

  9. New installed equipments Man Rider Installation for all rigs Install H2S & LEL system on all rigs Install Fuel Purifier on all rigs Install new alarm panels for main engines Isolate all engines exhaust pipe manifolds Install SCR CO2 fire fighting system on all rigs

  10. 2-3 Equipment overhaul ST#1,9Complete overhaul for the Power TongST#2Top end overhaul for the ShanDong power engine Complete overhaul for the ShanDong power engineST#5,7Complete overhaul for the Air hoist 5 ton

  11. ST#10Complete overhaul for the Crown Block ST#1,21Complete overhaul for Mud Pump
