Overview of the 1st Danube Financing Dialogue: Enhancing SME Financing Opportunities

The 1st Danube Financing Dialogue took place on March 28-29, 2012, at the Austrian Central Bank in Vienna. Aimed at fostering partnerships between SMEs and financial institutions, the event included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and a networking dinner. Participants included SME project representatives, financial institutions, and EUSDR representatives. This dialogue served as a matchmaking platform to explore the feasibility of a Danube Investment Framework, identify challenges, and leverage opportunities for financing SME projects in the Danube region.
