  2. History of electricity • Electricity was first discovered by Ben Franklin in Philadelphia by flying a kite in a storm with a key attached to it. When Franklin first discovered electricity, he did not know the problems it would cause on our environment such as using up all of the planets resources. At one time, it was a great discovery but now it is time for us to start to find cleaner ways to produce it …

  3. Hypothesis • My family will use less kilowatts then my neighbor because we are going to conserve.

  5. Total Number of Kilowatts • The total number of kilowatts I used in a week was 134kwh. The total amount of kilowatts my next door neighbor used 162kwh. In conclusion I found that my hypothesis was correct.

  6. Causes and Effects

  7. AS students, how can we reduce our ecological footprint on our local environment? • You can reduced your ecological footprint by turning out lights. Any student that wants to reduce their footprint can also turn out lights and save energy. So remember, one solution to reduce your ecological footprint is to turn out lights and conserve energy.
