  3. Shannon 2 • Shannon was born in New Jersey. • She was abandoned by her father, and her mother Mary died when she was young. • She was raised by her grandmother, Florence.

  4. Shannon 3 • Her childhood heroes were The Beatles, Elvis, Sylvester Stallone, Billy Holiday, Josephine Baker, Muhammad Ali, and Charlie Chaplin. • “These are individuals who color out side the lines, go against the grain, defy all allegiance to normalcy.” ~ Shannon

Shannon 4 • Before she became known as “The World’s Greatest Beatles Artist” she built and designed motorcycles for a living. • Eventually, due to her reckless driving, she was severely injured in a motorcycle accident. • After sixteen months of rehabilitation, she turned her life to painting.

  6. Shannon 5 • In 1990, Shannon started her career by entering her artwork at a Beatles Art Contest in New York. She won the first prize. • Excited, she began to tour Beatles festivals around the world using just an Iwata Airbrush and an Electric Eraser. She painted at live events to showcase her Beatles artwork. • Her talent and success was immediately recognized across the globe…especially in Liverpool.

  19. Shannon 6 • Bill Heckle, owner of the Cavern Club, called Shannon and asked her if she wanted to provide the artwork for the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool. • She created over 100 paintings for the project. • “Shannon is the only artist in the world for the job,” Heckle said.
