Three Inspiring Paintings: From Fear to Love and Joy

Explore three impactful paintings that evoke strong emotions in me. The first, "View of Toledo" by El Greco, published in 1609, instills a sense of fear with its stormy backdrop, reflecting my aversion to turbulent weather. In contrast, Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida's "Mother," created in 1895, reminds me of the unconditional love and sacrifices of my mom, filling me with deep appreciation. Finally, Frida Kahlo's "Viva la Vida," from 1954, brings me joy and nostalgia, evoking cherished summer memories spent at my Nana's house with family, playing games and enjoying delicious watermelon.
