The Leadership Programme Participants • Programme designed for up to 30 leaders = Mancom (5 strategic managers), the Leadership Team (15 managers) and currently 8 high potential (HiPo) staff and contractors. The Programme • The programme aims to support the achievement of the current strategy through enabling Mancom to deliver (working as a strategic team) and enabling leaders across the business to deliver, whilst supporting succession planning. • The programme will consist of the following main elements: • An initial diagnosis phase (1:1 interviews with key stakeholders to educate the detailed design of each module) • A programme launch meeting (informal briefing session over lunch) • 2 core modules (run as 2 cohorts of c15 participants each cohort) • Action Learning Group activity (to provide support and challenge after the modules) • Individual Coaching after Module 2 (4 sessions per person, each session a maximum of 2hrs, unless individual requests not to take up the coaching support.) Programme Outcomes The Programme outcomes are that participants will: • Demonstrate improved communication through more positive conversations • Build capability in structuring their thinking before communicating • Understand how to adapt their style to more effectively influence others • Have increased self knowledge and understanding of potential limitations / barriers to success of their own leadership style • Achieve a unity of purpose to improve efficiency & effectiveness • Improve stakeholder influencing capability through increased self awareness / emotional intelligence • Be better able to manage cultural differences • Inspire and lead for greater team engagement • Be a role model as a proactive manager of change
