  22. CONCLUSIONS OBSERVING SYSTEM : Significative efforts will be made in order to keep the operatio-tional status of all the Argentine Antarctic Meteorological Stations. During 2006 it is expected to put in operation AMC MBI HRPT station (NMS – CONAE) The NMS offered logistical support to increase the upper air observations in MBI as a contribution to the IPY, in accordance to its possibilities.

  23. CONCLUSIONS DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM : A double quality control is performed (at the stations and at the ERMC Buenos Aires), a high presence of data is observed. The availability of data at the AMC MBI is optimized for forecasting purposses.

  24. CONCLUSIONS TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM : Alternate means of transmission between AMC MBI-RTH BUE are under review. Regular monitoring of the RTH Buenos Aires incoming data. All the observational data and products are introduced on the GTS and NMS web
