  1. Outline • Outgassing with Cu electrodes, in BDR mode • Outgassing with heated Cu electrodes (875°C)

  2. H2 outgassing during BDR (Cu) • Run at 250 MV/m • BDR = 0.1 consecutive breakdowns • 8 sec / attempt • 1 min pause after each bkd • reduced pumping speed • CO signal similar ‘quiet’ period

  3. (1) H2 outgassing during BDR (Cu) • The H2 outgassing level is not constant from one ‘quiet period’ to the other • change in beta? more outgassing less outgassing

  4. (1) H2 outgassing during BDR (Cu) no visible increase in outgassing before a brkd cluster

  5. (2) Outgassing with heated Cu electrodes • data taken at BDR=1, with same energy (0.8J) • 4 min integration time similar values slight decrease due to treatment? (within error bars)

  6. (2) Other results with heated Cu electrodes • Average breakdown field: 170 MV/m • delays: 5% of long, 95% of immediate • BDR vs field: no surprises similar to standard Cu

  7. (3) a PM is now installed light current
