  3. How will you grade a smear with 9 AFB in 100 fields ? positive(Actual) 09 AFB

  4. ------ Smear with more than 10 AFB per field. 3 +

  5. A smear with 1 to 9 bacilli in majority of the fields will be graded as: 2 +

  6. Smear grade: 2 + (1-9 AFB /field in at least 50 fields)

  7. Smear Grade: 1 + 10 - 99 AFB in 100 fields

  8. Smear Grade:actual ( < 10 AFB in 100 fields)

  9. Grade the following smears:

  10. Positive (6AFB)

  11. Positive 1+

  12. 1 + (86 AFB/96 HPF)

  13. 08 AFB (Actual)

  14. Positive 2 +

  15. Positive (8 AFB)

  16. 2 +

  17. Positive 1 +
