  2. Dr. Yoginder Singh Kataria BBA – HOD Message

  3. I feel privileged to be the HOD of the largest group of BBA students and being associated with PIET, an institute of high repute. • From the moment a young person enters the College we want them to feel a sense of happiness and belonging, as this is essential to their future success. Our College is recognized for helping all our students learn and succeed. With 900 students, we can provide more personal support and greater access to opportunities in each student’s chosen fields of interest. Parents and visitors compliment us on the warm and orderly atmosphere and our strong sense of community. • We encourage all our students to develop high expectations about themselves, their work and their behaviour, which is an expression of our values of Personal best, Integrity, Respect and Responsibility.

  4. Our approach involves working with parents to meet the individual needs of every student, and supporting them to fulfil their academic and co-curricular goals and dreams. We aim for all pupils to be happy and to be challenged in a supportive and safe environment by developing well rounded individuals who demonstrate resilience, determination and strength of character. • We equip them with skills required to access increased opportunities thereby enhancing their life chances. ‘High expectations’ is the key word in everything that we do. This helps in developing an inspirational College community that engages with all parents and careers.

  5. Our popularity has been ever growing and we always welcome visitors to make an appointment to visit the College and see what we have to offer, talk to our staff and students and see us in action. • I look forward to welcoming you to ensure the best standard of education for your child. Our academic standards continue to improve year on year by providing pupils with the necessary skills to flourish in an ever-changing world. Yoginder S Kataria HOD, BBA

  6. Editorial Team’s View Mr. Jagmohan Ms. Pooja Gupta Dr. Sangeeta

  7. A college magazine is nothing but the enduring thoughts taking shape of words and occupying the pages to present a truly exciting and interesting experience to its readers. It is snapshot of departmental activities, academic as well as cultural. Since communication is the key to success in every organisation, this magazine is also a step towards it. • This is an authentic source of increased awareness and improved interaction which goes a step further to integrate the department as a whole.

  8. Usually we fail to appreciate the good deeds of many people and activities that happen around us as we are engaged in irrelevant talks and assumptions. It could all change if we just pause to think of what is our contribution to the society from which we have been gifted with this blessed life. • The progress of the society mainly depends on many people who are working behind the scenes, overtime round the clock planning things to the smallest. This news letter will be a medium to provide proper acknowledgement and respect all of these efforts and its results.

  9. This is only a small step towards a long journey. To achieve progress and to meet objectives we have to cross numerous milestones. This issue of newsletter should inspire all of us for a new beginning enlightened with hope, confidence and faith in each other in the road ahead..... • This newsletter will bridge the gap between achievements and publicity. Activities published—that too not all—in the newsletter are sufficient to prove that PIET as a whole and BBA as a department is progressing at an exponential rate, credits and thanks for which go to the dedicated staff and their team work. Signing off with a quotation “If you want to go fast, walk alone, if you want to go far, walk together”. • Jag Mohan Malhotra • Chief Editor
