MLC Cheer Competition Update Jamfest Northern Jam Date: Saturday, 4th February 2012 Location: Blackpool Winter Gardens 97 Church Street Blackpool FY1 1HL Tickets: Adults £10 Children (6-12) £8 Under 5’s are FREE Tickets are only being sold on the door and cannot be purchased in advance. All spectators must buy a ticket and we do not expect the event to sell out. Schedule: As soon as the schedule is released we will notify at training, via email and Facebook. Plan to be there all day in the meantime. Info will also be posted on www.lightningcheerleaders.co.uk, www.uamanchester.com and www.jamfest.com/Europe/ Getting there: All athletes are expected to make their own travel arrangements. Contact info and meeting points will be organised closer to the event. All athletes are expected to be competition ready upon arrival with full competition uniform and shoes. BY TRAIN: Blackpool North Train Station is 0.5 miles from the Winter Gardens Walking Directions: Head Northwest out of the station and turn left toward High St/A586 Turn left onto High Street Turn Right onto Talbot Road At the roundabout take the first exit onto Corporation Street Slight right onto Church Street and destination is on the left. TRAFFORD SCHOOL OF GYMNASTICS CHEER PRESIDENT: SIR FERGUS MONTGOMERY January 2012 Cheer Update • MLC Teams Sprites, Sparks, and Strike compete on Saturday 4th February at Jamfest Northern Jam at the Blackpool Winter Gardens. Tickets are £10 per Adult , £8 per child aged 6-12 at the door. Schedule to be available shortly. • The deadline for ordering an MLC Uniform is 19th January. Please contact Laura Bailey at lightningcheerleaders@hotmail.co.ukto order ASAP. • UA Manchester Teams Platinum and Mercury will compete at Future Cheer’s Heart of England in Loughborough on Sunday 26th February. Please book Spectator tickets and coach seats with Marie via marie@uamanchester.com ASAP. • As of 19th January, ALL ATHLETES MUST BE TRAINING IN INDOOR TRAINERS. No socks or bare feet. To order cheer trainers please contact Marie. Jenkinsonby email: marie@uamanchester.com. • Attendance at practices for all competing athletes is MANDATORY until after competitions. • Extra training sessions may be added in the upcoming weeks for competing teams. Times and dates will be communicated ASAP. • Extra tumbling sessions have started for all Junior and Senior athletes. • Thursdays 7:45pm-8:30pm: UA Mercury • Tuesdays 8:15pm-9:30pm: MLC Strike, UA Platinum, UA Mercury + new members • Pricing: 1 Team + Tumbling = £34 per month* • 2 Teams + Tumbling = £49 per month* • Tumble only = £20 monthly + £20 Membership Payment • *Adjustments will need to be made to your existing Standing Order
