  4. A.God sees YOU as SPECIAL and PRECIOUS! Psalm 139:14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

  5. A.God sees YOU as SPECIAL and PRECIOUS! 2Co 10:12 Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding.

  6. B. God has a wonderful plan for YOU! Jer 29:11For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

  7. B. God has a wonderful plan for YOU! • Knowing God’s purpose gives meaning to life. • Knowing God’s purpose gives vision to YOUR life.

  8. B. God has a wonderful plan for YOU! • Knowing God’s purpose motivates YOU to excel. • Knowing God’s purpose prepares YOU for eternity.

  9. C. God wants YOU to be thankful. The UNCHANGEABLES IN OUR LIVES: • Parents • Gender • Physical features • Race

  11. Thankful people are happy people.

  12. D. God wants YOU to develop Christ-like character. • Love for God and others • Fruits of the Holy Spirit • Wisdom • E.Q. (emotional quotient) • Integrity

  13. D. God wants YOU to develop Christ-like character. • Responsibility • Good stewardship • Discipline • A Servant Heart

  14. E. God wants YOU to be responsible for YOUR choices. Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

  15. E. God wants YOU to be responsible for YOUR choices. • The choices YOU make will impact YOUR future. 2. Decisions have consequences.

  16. E. God wants YOU to be responsible for YOUR choices. 3. YOU are free to choose, but YOU must understand that YOU are not free to escape the consequences of YOUR choice.

  17. F. God wants YOU to develop Christ-confidence and not self-confidence. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

  20. A. Choose friends wisely. Pro 22:24 Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, Pro 22:25 lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.

  21. B. Wait until YOU are ready for marriage because having a boyfriend or girlfriend early is impractical.

  22. Protecting the 5 Freedoms • Freedom from distraction • Freedom from unnecessary pain. • Freedom from isolation.

  23. Protecting the 5 Freedoms • Freedom from immorality • Freedom to develop God’s gifting and pursue God’s will.

  24. C. Prioritize what is important. • God • Family • Responsibilities • Friends
