  1. 2 (a). I know the 24 most common phrases in Spanish. Task 1: Go to the O drive  MFL CoPE International  The 24 most useful Spanish phrases PowerPoint + audioOpen up the PowerPoint and click on each speech bubble to hear each phrase pronounced. Repeat each phrase several times until you are happy that you can imitate the pronunciation. Task 2: Go to the O drive  MFL  CoPE International  The 24 most useful Spanish phrases PowerPoint + audio + gapsOpen up this 2nd PowerPoint and this time see if you can pronounce each phrase before listening to it – you can see only the first letter of each word. Then check by clicking the speech bubble to see how well you knew each phrase. Work on this until you can do them all. When you are confident with this task, you are ready to do Task 3.Task 3: Open up the web document in the same folder called 24 most popular Spanish phrases and test yourself Spanish to English on all the phrases until you get them all right. Then you can try doing them English into Spanish. When you have done these 3 tasks, keep them open and show your teacher, who will sign the challenge off. • I can say all the phrases with good pronunciation with just first letter prompts. • I know the meanings of all the phrases when I see them written down.
