  5. World AIDS Day In main universities students were photographed with Red Ribbon. By these photos young people expressed their support of HIV prevention activities and willingness to take part in it. All photos were loaded on NGO’s web-sites, most popular social network Vkontakte.ru, mass-media recourses.   6. World AIDS Day Totally about 13,000 young people were covered, all of them received information materials on HIV/AIDS prevention published under this activity. It’s important to highlight that all of young people could load their photos from web-sites that contained information on HIV/AIDS as well. The special postcards and banners with the photos of young people with Red Ribbon were published and disseminated among youth on 1st December. Banners were put up on the streets at the informal meeting points of young people.

  7. International Volunteer Day In all regions volunteers conducted special performances for abandon children in orphanages, including children living with HIV.   8. International Human Rights Day Produced and shown on local TV and web-sites videos with youth opinions on youth rights. Conducted round tables on youth rights with participation of young people, local decision makers and mass-media. Special Activities Network training on organizational development was conducted by Y-Peer recourse center “Siberian initiative” in Barnaul for 19 participants (youth volunteers and youth coordinators) from Y-Peer NGOs from 9 regions. The Art project “Right for the health” was launched in Irkutsk by Irkutsk Red Cross. This additional initiative was co-financed by UNHCR and is focused on advocacy of human rights of vulnerable populations. One of the most famous local photographer made photos in prisons, streets, etc of Irkutsk. 90 people (including city Government, Police Department, Health Department, Federal Drug Service, mass-media, etc) were participating at the launch of the exhibition. Till May 2011 the exhibition will be presented in different regions of Irkutsk oblast. 2,000.00 US $ were fundraised at the launch – these funds will be spent to buy additional equipment for the crisis flat service (stitching machine that will be used by women to sew clothes for themselves, and for sale as well). http://www.redcross-irkutsk.org/ru/news/news-174/full.html http://www.redcross-irkutsk.org/ru/gallery/gallery-58/showGallery.html

  10. Other Results About 50 publications in mass-media on youth rights, HIV/AIDS and volunteers approach were published. More than 70 young people have becoming leaders – managers and coordinators of implemented activities. “10 days of activism” facilitated other comprehensive volunteers and civil society activities in the regions – for example forum of volunteers organizations “Active 74” in Chelyabinsk.
