  1. How to Avoid Humidity Damage to Your Items Have your products been damaged by exposure to excessive levels of humidity? Humidity, also known as water vapor, occurs when water in the air on the earth's surface mixes with oxygen. Excessive moisture can make metal products weak causing rusting and corrosion. It can also cause product labels to come off sensitive electronic items. Even food products like cereal, bread, and coffee can become stale if they become damp. Fortunately, there is now a new product formulated to solve that problem which may also protect your more expensive items from damage caused by exposure to humid environments. Here are some tips for protecting your products from humidity. Select A Seal One of the most effective ways to keep your products dry is to use an airtight vacuum seal. For long- lasting vacuuming and sealing, a high-quality bubble pack packing machine is your best bet. When you seal your product inside an airtight package, you’re preventing outside moisture from getting in, keeping the moisture from your product in. Use Water-Absorbing Materials Water-absorbing polymers such as polypropylene or polyethylene are typically used to package products that are light in weight but high in moisture content. These materials are ideal for foods that contain a lot of water, such as fruits and vegetables. Use Desiccants Whether you use a large container or small jars, desiccants are truly indispensable when storing herbs and spices. They absorb moisture from the atmosphere, making them the best defense against moisture-related damage. Simply place a desiccant pack inside your container with herbs and spices to prevent damage from moisture. Silica Gel One of the most common desiccants is silica gel, which is made up of powdered silicon dioxide particles. Because it has a strong attraction to water molecules, it functions as a sponge, sucking up any water vapor in the air. Its attraction to water is significantly greater than its attraction to oxygen. To be effective as a drying agent, silica gel must be stored in an airtight environment or container. It has the ability to absorb up to 40% of its weight in water while retaining its pore structure. Molecular Sieve Molecular Sieve is used for many different purposes of industries and several purposes. but It's mostly utilized in pharmaceutical items to keep medications dry. Molecular sieve is one of the most
