  2. Agenda • Update in Format • Dell Orders in eStores • Upcoming Renewals • MATLAB • Minitab • SAS • SAS Virtualization Pilot • Purchasing Updates: • Bids for enterprise-wide technology products

  3. Dell Standard Configs going through resellers in eStores • OSU Purchasing is targeting a change to ordering for Dell products • All orders will be through resellers (CDWG/GovConnect). This offers: • The same or better discount • Faster turn-around time on custom orders • All Dell products • Custom items come fully built with Dell warranty • Ability of CDWG to meet MBE/EDGE vendor requirements

Dell Standard Configs going through resellers in eStores • You can still obtain quotes from Dell if you prefer • Request they transfer the quote to CDWG or another eStores partner • Custom orders should be faster • Dell was running 2-4 weeks to create custom orders • CDWG suggests 12-48 hours • Targeting Sept. 30 for Standard Configs • We will see how custom configs go before moving them

  5. Upcoming Software Renewals • Minitab • Expiration Date: August 30 • Renewal in progress • MATLAB • Expiration Date: August 30 • Hard fail: Sept. 30 • Renewal in progress • SAS • Expiration Date: Sept. 30 • Hard fail: Dec. 31 • Renewal in progress

  6. SAS Delivery Pilot • This has been put on hold due to a change in how Azure is licensed.
