  2. Central Piedmont Community College CPCC has been a part of the Charlotte, North Carolina landscape for almost 50 years. It has six campuses located throughout Mecklenburg County and serves more than 70,000 students a year. Home Institution Innovator Our Innovation Visit Us Contact

  3. Our Innovator Clint McElroy is Dean for Retention Services at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) in Charlotte, NC. He earned his doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In addition to managing CPCC's First Year Student program, TRiO Program, and Tutoring Centers, he chairs CPCC's Retention Committee and the Student Intake Steering Committee. He served as lead manager of CPCC¹s Next Generation Learning Challenges grant project. Home Ken is the Executive Director of Emerging Technology at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) managing the strategic and operational functions for emerging technology projects at the college. Ken directly manage the Web Development, Digital Media Services, and Learning Management System departments. Oversee all operations and budgets for college web applications, public website, employee intranet, learning management systems, digital media initiatives, lecture capture systems and many other learning and administrative systems. Online Student Profile Learning System - Bringing Greater Personalization to Higher Education The Online Student Profile system is a platform focused on identification, tracking and intervention for at risk students at CPCC and various partner College's throughout the United States. The platform includes multiple tools to assess and track student progress while being built using open source technologies.
