  3. Benefits of ecommerce • People can log in to the internet at any point of the day whether its in the morning or night to buy anything they want. Online prices are usually cheaper than in stores so it would want people to buy online they also have various items that are not available elsewhere. This also saves a lot of time and money by not having to go out and spend money on travel. wasim akram

  4. Legislation • There are different laws in different countries so when you want to sell something to a person in America you have to make sure you abide by the rules. Shipping overseas you have to make if the product needs taxes you have to put them on. The company has to sell the person who wants to buy alcohol in a different country who is 18 because it is the legal age to buy and sell in the UK,but on the other hand the seller could get in trouble by the other country because they have broken their law this would most likely lead to a fine or the company closing down. wasim akram

  5. Customer trust • Customers might not trust the business because they don't know much about the business so they won’t buy from the company so they have to make it more reliable so that they can be trusted. You have to offer lower prices that high street stores are offering and also sell products that are not available elsewhere. Need to offer a 24 hour delivery service for a small cost to make people actually want to buy from your website. People also worry that their personal information won’t be safe so they need to offer some kind of secure online banking. wasim akram

  6. Security • Security is a main issue when opening a business online. When setting up an online business you should make sure that you safeguard details of your customers from hackers. you need to make sure that you have an anti virus software on your computer because people can hack in to your system and steal all data. wasim akram

  7. Social Implications Online shopping is usually cheaper than high streets stores. This is usually because they don't have to employ as many people so they save money that way. They usually have to have a person that keeps the website up to date so this could result in fast price changed by the click of a button instead of employing staff to go round and change the prices on all the products. People also want to purchase things that they can’t afford which then leads to them being in debt. Some people may not have access to internet in their home so that would lead to them having to pay for internet privileges. wasim akram

  8. Impact on employment • This results to less people being employed because they don't need staff stacking shelves or labelling prices because its all done over the internet so this results to people jobless. wasim akram

  9. 24/7service and delivery • There is a 24/7 service available where you can log on to your computer at anytime of the day and purchase something online they usually offer a 24 hour delivery service. The bad thing about this is that you have to wait for the company to deliver the item unlike going out to high street stores and going to get it yourself. wasim akram
