They will need to spell the words correctly and put them in the correct sort Jan. 28-Feb. 1 For the next five weeks the homework will include 15 minutes of reading Monday-Thursday. That means one hour of reading each week for five weeks. On Friday, February 22, your child’s Six Flags reading log must be turned in. This is the perfect opportunity to help them grow as readers and receive a free Six Flags ticket. This is different than the guided reading. This week we will be working on long a, hard and soft g, past and present verbs, making an inference and drawing conclusions. January 28: Flu Vaccination Clinic 4:00-7:00 at FMHS February 1: McKamy Orchestra at 2:00 February 5: Chick-fil-a Night February 8: Jump Rope for the Heart 10:15-11:00 February 9: Winterfest 5:00-7:00 • This weeks Math focus: • - Describing attributes of objects • -Using attributes to sort a set of objects • -Making sense of data representations, including pictures, bar graphs, tallies, and Venn diagrams We are investigating rocks and landforms.
