  4. Procedure • Stories have been selected to cover several themes. • Unit 1: Neighborhood Visit • Unit 2: Nature Watch • Unit 3: Tell Me About It • 1 story per week

  5. New Vocabulary Sheet

  6. Homework • Day 1 (Friday): Copy the first half of the spelling words (9 words) THREE TIMES! • Day 2 (Saturday): Start on a new page! Copy the rest of the spelling words (9 words) THREE TIMES! • Day 3 (Sunday) Review all 18 words!

  7. Homework • Day 4 (Monday): Start on a new page! Sentences: If they see a picture, they need to make their own. If they see a sentence, they can copy the sentence. • Day 5 (Tuesday): Start on a new page! Finish the sentences. • Day 6 (Wednesday): Turn in Spelling Notebooks. Practice the reading lesson at home! Read out loud!

  8. Homework • Day 7: Finish corrections. Study for quiz (Tuesday) • The SPELLING/VOCABULARY QUIZ will be taken the following Tuesday! (unless alternative arrangements are made!)

  9. VOCABULARY • Learn how to pronounce the words • Understand the definitions • Copy the words – spelling • Sentences structure – copying sentences • Writing sentences
