  3. We did a survey of 40 people, in two parts: - 20 people living in countryside- 20 people living in downtown

  4. What is your means heating? In rural area, 74% of the population use fossil fuels. A minority use renewable energy such as solar panels and electricity. In town many people use again fossil fuels like heating means.

  5. How you go at your work? In town, a big part of population uses public transport, including buses and trams. A minority uses the bike. But lot of people uses again the car. A big part of the population uses the car as a means of transport. A little part uses public transport.

  6. Overall, the majority of the population sorting waste. A small portion of the population does not sort their waste. yousort yourwaste?

  7. There are many more composter in countryside that in city. It is difficult to install a composter in citybecause most people do not have a gardens. youHAVEa composter?

  8. Most people buy products with packaging. Indeed very few products have no packaging. However most packaging are plastic or cardboard and are recyclable. try buying products without packaging?

  9. Many more people buy local produce in countryside than in the city. You buy local produce?

  10. Overall, the population buys the same proportions of organic produce in town and in countryside. You buyorganicproducts?

  11. In general, the population most often takes showers instead of baths. Bath or shower?

  12. 100% of people let appliances on standby at home. Example: TV, computeur, etc ... You leave your appliances on standby?

  13. Conclusion : Despite the efforts of the population to use public transport, there are still a large number of fossilenergy user. Renewablesenergyhas rapidlyincreasing, but difficult to accessbecause of their high price.
