  2. City Location within Poland • Gdansk is on the Bay of Gdansk and the Baltic Sea, beside the Vistula river. The Vistula is also the largest river.

  3. City Location within Europe • Gdansk is located in the middle of Europe, in the north of Poland.

  4. Climate Zone • Gdansk is temperate with cold, cloudy, moderately harsh winters with frequent rain. • There is mild summers with frequent showers and thunderstorms.

  5. Rivers and Waterways • Some of the rivers and waterways are the Vistula River, Motlawa River, Lewinka River, and the Bay of Gdansk.

  6. Amber Museum • Has the world’s largest display of natural amber blocks.

  7. Artus Court • Inspired by the courts of King Arthur.

  8. Bread Gate • It was built around the year of 1450.

  9. Old Town Hall • This building once belonged to Johann Hevelius, who's statue can be found outside the building in the park.

  10. Golden Gate • A triumphal arch.

  11. Neptune Fountain • Displayed in front of Artus Court.

  12. Tower Clocks Museum • Collects tower clocks from the 15th century and on.

  13. House Under the Angels • Also known as the English house.

  14. Airplanes • Lech Walesa is an airport in Gdansk.

  15. Taxis • There are transfer taxis that transfer you to and from the airports.

  16. Hiring a Car • Also known as renting a car; you can rent a car even from the airport.

  17. Trams Used to travel in between cities; they are like trains in a way.

  18. Buses • There are night buses which operate between 11pm and 5am.

  19. Local Trains • They connect cities and suburbs.

  20. Boats • RIB boats are Rigid Inflatable Boats.
