Overview of partnership framework • More organisations are interested in joining the AREA to benefit from the membership initiatives. • There are certain organisations that do not fit the current membership structure. • These organisations can bring benefit to the AREA and its members but are very unlikely to pay a membership fee. • They are often not directly involved / interested in enterprise AR but their work or customers are! • The AREA needs to find a way to engage and work with these organisations to create a WIN/WIN outcome

  35. Goal and characteristics Goals • To obtain new members who offer an strategic advantage and (potential) financial benefit to AREA / its members • Increase value to existing members through the partnerships • Define and deliver a WIN/WIN partnership that benefits both parties • Create a partnership framework that enables the AREA to engage with organisations who do not fit the “just join as a member” Characteristics • Must be a non profit or not for profit organisation? • Commercial based companies are excluded • Both parties can clearly define and implement the benefits agreed from the mutual membership on a case by case basis • Both parties assign a relationship manager to mange the partnership

  36. Social media & news update

  37. Social media update LinkedIn AREA company page 479 followers Steady growth in followers and engagements with the content. We share a variety of news, events, adverts for forthcoming webinars, etc and work already done to spread awareness of the AREA. Continues to be a useful platform. Twitter 8.9k followers No growth in follower numbers, but the link clicks on individual tweets has shot up (highest was 218 link clicks on an individual tweet this month). Probably due to appetite for information within industry. Low likes and RT does not show pattern of increased link clicks. LinkedIn Group 13,534 members Again a noticeable increase in appetite for information on AR and VR. We get 50 requests to join the group per day (about 2/3 are accepted). Instagram 3548 followersPromoting members, events and membership benefits on this platform including general info about the work of the AREA.
