  7. Type C • Body installed on a flat back cowl chassis • 10,000lbs or more • Capacity > 10 • Engine in front of windshield • Entrance behind front wheels

  11. Rescue Corridor Enter Exit Establish a rescue corridor to maintain the one way flow of rescuer and victim removal and prevent congestion.

  17. Seat Removal • Seats may be a main source of entanglement to victims.

  18. Seat Removal • Cut legs along aisle with cutters or reciprocating saw. • Cut as low as possible.

  19. Seat Removal • Remove seat from wall with spreaders.

  20. Window Removal • Easily removed. • Remove screws from side windows on the interior. • Remove post with reciprocating saw or hydraulic cutters. • Cover sharp edges. • Blanket • Duct Tape

  22. Roof Removal • 2 layers of sheet metal to cut through • Reciprocating saw • Air chisel • Circular saw • Halligan

  23. Side Wall Removal • Remove side windows. • Disconnect batteries. • Reciprocating saw. • Look for coolant lines along floor for auxiliary heaters.

  26. Tail Light Door Cut • Greater access • Hydraulic cutters • Reciprocating saw

  27. Tail Light Door Cut • Remove glass. • Perform cuts; 1, 2, 3, & 4 with hydraulic cutters. • Perform 5th cut with reciprocating saw. 1 2 3 4 5
