  2. About the Company Landgraf-McAbee Inc. is owned and operated by Doug Landgraf, CPMR and Steve McAbee, CPMR. Founded in 1997, we are the fastest growing Electro-Mechanical representative firm in the Charlotte North Carolina area. From our company owned 15,200 square foot warehouse, we stock and ship products for the finest group of quality principles available. Landgraf-McAbee has a staff of trained sales professionals. Our inside salesmen, warehouse staff, and outside staff, have a combined 135 years of electric motor, gearing, motion control, and power transmission experience. The entire team is dedicated to living our mission statement with every sales call, phone call, and shipment.

Special emphasis on Marketing, maintained a B average in all major courses. Crimson Electric Inc. (1984 to 1988) Director of Sales. Established some 30 new industrial accounts. Maintained approximately 100 other accounts in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Asheville areas. Strong well established working relationships with many plant engineers, and purchasing managers. Responsibilities included inventory control of new motors, drives, and starters. Supervised 3 route drivers/salesmen and established and maintained company sales routes. R.F. Wolters Co. Inc. (1988-1992) Outside Sales Responsible for sales in South Carolina, North Carolina. Maintained distribution accounts; EASA motor repair shops, P.T. accounts. Products included Motors, Drives, Controls, Bearings, and Copper Wire. Increased sales 200% in three years. Worked in establishing and opening Greenville South Carolina branch in 1989. Strong ties in the distribution and OEM accounts in this geographical area. H.A Holden Inc. (1992- 1997) Field Sales Rep. Responsible for Northern Georgia, South Carolina, Western North Carolina. Established and maintained EASA motor shop accounts, with sales emphasis on capital equipment, repair parts, insulation and wire products. During my career with H.A. Holden, I increased sales from 124,000 to 1.1 million per year. Developed well-established relationships with many EASA shop owners, and distributors. Inducted as an Allied member of US Department of Energy motor challenge program. Developed regional marketing programs to market products related to motor efficiency, predictive maintenance, and drive systems. Landgraf-McAbee Inc. (1997-Present) Co-Owner Along with business partner Doug Landgraf, Founded manufactures representative firm based in Charlotte NC. LMI was founded around opportunity to represent Leeson Electric Inc. Representative territory is South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia. 15,200 square foot distribution center in Charlotte North Carolina. Personal Married 18 years, wife Kimberly. One daughter age 14, one son age 10.

Territories include NC, SC, VA and WV. 1997-1998 Regional Manager, Control Techniques Drives, Division of Emerson Electric Co., Atlanta, Georgia Managed Distribution, OEM, Systems Sales and National Account Sales for GA, AL, FL, TN and MS. Products included VFD’s, Motors and Integrated Systems. Ranked as top performer in U.S. 1994-1997 Regional Sales Manager/Drives, Wolters Motors & Drives, Norcross, Georgia Responsible for management of southeast region’s drive division. Target markets included distribution and OEM. Managed five branches and six sales representatives. Increased drives sales 163% in first year. Applications Engineer and VFD Specialist. Instructed customer applications training seminars on energy efficient motors and VFD applications. 1992-1993 Sales Manager, General Electric Corporation, Brea, California Managed seven sales representatives. Ranked top performing sales manager in Technical Products group with $26.6 million in sales. Directed field sales, customer training, new account development and product specification. Products included GE Fanuc Programmable Logic Controls, GE Motors, GE VFD’s, GE Electrical Distribution & Control and GE Power Monitoring & Control Systems. 1990-1992 Territory Manager, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Compton, California Appointed to second most profitable Distribution/OEM/Aerospace/Industrial territory in region. Successfully negotiated highly profitable contracts with Hughes, Northrop, Union Carbide and McDonnell-Douglas. 1989-1990Sales Representative, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Chicago, Illinois Developed Chicago territory from $12K to $490K sales per month. Ranked as leading new growth sales representative in Midwest division after first year. 1988-1989 Inside Sales Representative, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Hammond, Indiana Assigned to #1 territory in region.
