  4. Tiered Mathematics Trainings • Building • Deepening • Sustaining

  5. Building NUMBERS • Number Sense (K-3), Fractions and Decimals (3-5) • Regional AMSTI staff, along with ALSDE staff – 4 days of training to become certified trainers • LEA Options – 2 day training offerings for each module

  6. Deepening AMSTI K-2 • Year 1: Counting and Early Number Sense; Year 2: Measurement/Data and Geometry • Regional AMSTI staff – write, pilot, and revise • LEA Options – 4 day training for year 1; 3 for year 2; each year has 4 days of follow-up, in-school PLCs

  7. Deepening AMSTI 3-5 • Year 1: Multiplication and Division; Year 2: Fractions • Regional AMSTI staff – write, pilot, and revise • LEA Options – 4 day training for year 1; 3 for year 2; each year has 4 days of follow-up, in-school PLCs

  8. Deepening PLC Structure • Content Deepening • Analyze Student Work • Next Instructional Steps

  9. Sustaining OGAP • Additive, Multiplicative, Fractional, Proportional • Regional AMSTI staff – certification sessions • LEA Options – 4 day training for each, plus 4 days of follow-up, in-school PLCs
