I, the Lord, am your God…You shall not have strange gods before me. • I put God before all else. • I am loyal to the Lord morethan to my success, prestige, popularity, possessions, etc. • Things are not as Important as my God and my faith.   3. #2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. • I respect God’s name and everything else that is holy. • In other words, watch your language! • How well do you apply this in your life? Write your response in your notebook.

  6. # 5. You Shall Not Kill • I respect all life as a gift from God. • I don’t do anything that would harm others or me. • I show care for those who most need love. • How well do you apply this in your life? Write your response in your notebook.

You shall not commit adultery(Be unfaithful to husband or wife) • I respect my own sexuality. • I do not tell inappropriate jokes, watch sexually explicit movies, or visit Internet sites that disrespect the gift of sexuality. • How well do you apply this in your life?   8. #7. You shall not steal. • I am honest in my dealings. • I do not cheat on my schoolwork. • I respect the property of others including others’ schoolwork. • How well do you apply this in your life? Write your response in your notebook.

  9. #8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Don’t lie) • I refrain from gossip, taking care to protect the reputation of others. • I don’t tell untruths or lie. • I accept consequences of my actions and don’t try to cover them up with excuses. • How well do you apply this in your life?   10. #9. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. • I am not envious of others’ good fortune. • I am not a jealous person. • I don’t desire others’ belongings. • How well do you apply this in your life? Write your response in your notebook.
