  2. Financial Report Update 5.5% growth from last year

Certification Program • NCMA evaluating the certification programs. • Will retain CPCM, CFCM, CCCM. • Likely changes to test construct. • One exam per credential. • General business knowledge will be incorporated in exam. • All credentials are independent of each other. • Possible changes to prerequisites. • Implementation goal is April 2009. • Major test question rewrite based on CMBOK Rev. 3 in 2010.

  4. CMBOK Revision 3 • Last study done >5 years ago. • Conduct professional practice (job) analysis. • Validated in a public process within our community. • Also used to develop legally defensible test specifications. • Published document is a guide to the CMBOK. • Target completion is 4/1/2010.

Contract Management Leadership Development Program (CMLDP) • Third CMLDP class graduates April 8, 2009 at World Congress 2009 in Long Beach. • Applications for 2009-10 class due by February 20th. • Class begins July 2009. • Program is free to students. • Employer/chapter/individual provides funding for travel to 4 events.

  10. National Elections • Interested members contact the Nominations and Elections Committee. • Call for interest on February 1st. • Committee develops a slate. • Ballot issued March 15th. • Members vote. • Voting closes by March 31st. • Four (4) Board members to be elected. • Three-year terms.

NCMA Logo Redesign • NCMA’s logo was adopted in 1961. • Target membership was the defense industry. • As part of our 50th anniversary preparations, we evaluated our logo as well as alternatives. • Multiple focus groups and customer interviews. • Found that: • The logo needs to be refreshed and updated; • Members would like an element of the current logo to be maintained in the future logo; • We should remove the pentagon from the logo.
