Starting Down The Right Path
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy - Pro 28:13
Confess or Cover?
Forsake or defend?
Mercy or Judgement?
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. – Lu. 13:3
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; -Acts 3:19
Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. –Ps 119:2
Trust in the LORD with all thineheart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
The only way to repent is to talk with God through prayer.
Open your heart and be honest, remember he knows ALL
This isn’t just a means to an end
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. -2Ch 7:14

b : to change one's mind
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. – Eze 18:21
