Text and Exercise Assignments • Assigned chapters will be covered with • lecture/discussion session following PowerPoint outlines • discussion over brief, illustrative videos/articles • Additional topics will be covered with • discussion sessions focusing on assigned questions • Midterm & final exams (100 points each) will • cover text chapters, related exercises and additional topics • include 28 multiple choice questions (2 points each) • include 2 essay questions selected from 4 options (22 points each)

Market Assessment Project • Rationale: Simulates process of identifying global market opportunities for a culturally-sensitive consumer product • Structure: A coordinated team project comprising four individual reports • Project outcomes • an oral project report including individual presentations by each team member • a written report from each team member covering one assigned portion of the project

  7. E-Commerce Project • Rationale: Provides an overview of E-Commerce and its role in global marketing • Structure: Team research project with two components • E-Commerce overview • Evaluation of B2B and B2C E-Commerce Web sites • Project outcomes • informal oral report to be presented on 8 Jan 2000 • formal written report due 28 Jan 2000
