What is SNS Marketing? • Social networking site marketing is the process of gaining website traffic or attention through social media sites. Social media marketing programs usually center on efforts to create content that attracts attention and encourages readers to share it across their social networks.
What is a Social Networking Site? • A social networking website is an online platform that allows users to create a public profile and interact with other users on the website. Social networking websites usually have a new user input a list of people with whom they share a connection and then allow the people on the list to confirm or deny the connection. After connections are established, the new user can search the networks of his connections to make more connections. A social networking site may also be known as a social website or a social networking website.

Sharing • Quick and easy way to get information regarding your product to consumers. Friends on social media may share the same interests. Automatically creates a niche audience marketing technique.
Identifiability • Required to provide authentic information to identify individuals. Cannot hide yourself. • Helps companies quickly identify who they want to market to
Social Media Management • Social media is a user-generated medium. • Online medium- only people with internet access can visit sites • Prosumption behavior- combining production and consumption based on content and production resources. • College students depend on social media as an information source
