Calliope Initiative: Advancing eHealth Interoperability Across Europe
The Calliope project, running from June 1, 2008, to December 1, 2010, aimed to enhance eHealth interoperability across Europe through a collaborative effort among 28 founding members from 16 countries. It involved various stakeholders, including competence centers, national authorities, and professional organizations from the healthcare industry. The initiative focused on effective communication with the epSOS project, contributing to the EU Interoperability Recommendation, proposing a European roadmap for eHealth interoperability, and engaging in standardization activities.
