  6. Sugar The Carbon Dioxide joins the Hydrogen to form Sugar. Food for plants.

  7. Food The sugar is moved to other parts of the plant

  8. Oxygen The extra Oxygen is released in to the air

The Steps • The Plant absorbs water through it’s roots. • The Water is moved to the leaves. • The Bottom of the leaves absorb Carbon Dioxide. • The Sun’s Energy splits the Water in to Oxygen and Hydrogen • The Carbon Dioxide joins the Hydrogen to form Sugar. Food for plants. • The sugar is moved to other parts of the plant • The extra Oxygen is released in to the air
