  3. In Spanish • The tú command has an affirmative form and a negative form • To tell someone to do or not to do something, use command forms.

Here’s how • Regular affirmative tú commands are the same as the él/ella/usted form in the present tense. • Present tense: Juan recoge y reciclalaslatas. • Juan collects and recycles the cans • Affirmative tú command: Juan, recoge y reciclalaslatas, por favor • Juan, collect and recycle the cans, please.
