  2. Agenda • Look at the process from a Prospect/Applicant point of view • Look at how we use Hobsons to track Prospects/Applicants as they move through the process

  3. Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 1 – Student Point of View • Self Identify as a Prospect or Inquiry • Fill out Interest Form online • Give info to representative at a fair/Open House • Send test scores to KSU • Personal contact with program personnel • Begin online application

  4. Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 1 – KSU Point of View • Self Identify as a Prospect or Inquiry • View “Contact” in Hobsons • View report of Contacts • Begin automated email messages

  5. Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 2 – Student Point of View • Receive Info from KSU-Begin Decision Process • Begin Application Process • Gather Supporting Documents

  6. Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 2 – KSU Point of View • Email campaign • Personal contact

  7. Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 3 – Student Point of View • Submit Application and Documents • Wait for decision

Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 3 – KSU Point of View • View list of applicants • Emails updating status of application • Once file complete, sent to program for review • Program review using NolijWeb • Program decision communicated to student via email and/or letter • Program decision communicated back to Graduate Admissions using NolijWeb

  9. Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 4 – Student Point of View • Receive admission decision or offer of admission • Login to VIP to accept/decline offer of admission • Meet with program/go to Orientation • Register for classes and become an enrolled student

  10. Prospect to Applicant to Enrolled • Step 4 – KSU Point of View • Monitor applicant status for acceptance of admission offer • Arrange for initial meeting/advisement and orientation • Follow up to see if enrolled
