  3. Mission of the Office of Emergency Management To provide the safest possible environment to the residents and visitors of Dona Ana County by identifying potential threats, using a comprehensive risk assessment program, and by pre-planning emergency responses using an ALL HAZARDS approach.

  4. Office of Emergency Management H1N1 Activities Submit Weekly/Bi-weekly H1N1 reports by DAC/CLC OEM to NMDHSEM during reporting period Law Enforcement Fire Department Public Works Hospitals Dispatch EMS Providers Public Schools DOH

  5. OEM Activities Cont. Received Weekly/Bi-weekly H1N1 situation reports sent by NMDHSEM to DAC/CLC OEM staff for updates Information shared with target agencies Quarterly Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Exercises Exercise Health Alert Network (HAN) Communications Telephone Internet Radio Base Stations FAX ICS 308 requests

  6. State and Federal Notification - NM Dept. of Homeland Security and Emergency Management in Santa Fe will be notified when the Dona Ana/Las Cruces EOC is activated - NMDHSEM will then notify other State and/or Federal resources as appropriate

  7. How to make contact For emergencies call Central Dispatch 9-1-1 Ask for the “on-call” Emergency Manager - Administrative phone number during normal office hours is 647-7900. -On scene Emergency responders should access Emergency Management Coordinators through MVRDA (Central Dispatch) 9-1-1
