  2. Topics Project Update: Performance Module ABC/M Reporting Module Executive Dashboard Module

  3. Performance Pilot Overview • Pilot is based upon our understanding with DOI input of the DOI Strategic Plan, Mission Areas, End and Intermediate Outcome goals, and End and Intermediate Performance Measures • Developed using the DOI approved Use Cases • Pilot is contained on a CALIBRE test site on a Web server, using an Oracle database server and interfacing with Crystal Enterprise Reporting server mirroring a full production system

  4. Performance Pilot Overview • Pilot is a functional application system that requires dedicated DOI engagement to: • Provide feedback on system performance, navigation and functionality • Populate the performance measures, work activities and work activity outputs and thereby • Introduce the application system at DOI and Bureau level

  5. Performance Pilot Overview • Re-hosting to Denver is planned for November or early December with all inputs saved from the test site • Pilot is an incremental build and will be maintained and improved with additional functionality

  6. Performance - The Next Steps • DOI Performance staff has been given permission after on-line registration to view and populate the Pilot application (create performance measures, assign measures, create work activities and work activity outputs) and provide feedback. Approved changes by DOI can be worked quickly (Evolutionary Updates) • DOI baseline the current Strategic Plan and Performance Measures • CALIBRE inform, educate, train and work with DOI and Bureau Performance Module administrators and POCs

  7. Performance - The Next Steps • DOI populate the performance measures, work activities and work activity outputs at DOI level or by specific Bureau system administrators and/or Bureau POCs on a bureau by bureau roll-out by 15 October or sooner • DOI review mission areas, outcome goals and measures, review the targets and previous performance data work, and in collaboration with CALIBRE develop standard reports

  8. ABC Reporting Module Update Accounting and financial system SME by bureau may need to assist in the interpretation of the data from the cost extract files from each bureau Obtaining daily financial data (FFS and ABACIS) extracts now from each bureau through the FTP site at NBC is extremely important. Cost extract file is good. Bureaus have code in DOI library. Bureaus need to execute. CALIBRE has been told several times that extracting cost data from the 48 and 49 series accounts and ignoring the other accounts will provide the cost data needed for ABC

  9. Executive Dashboard Module Update Demonstration of potential model CALIBRE developing Executive Dashboard for vetting with DOI leadership. Performance and ABC reports should provide a basis for the dashboard. Pilot - 31 Oct; Fully Operational - 15 Jan
