Essay Feedback 1) NOPA – No indiscriminate insertion! 2) ‘Cross Referencing’ & ‘discussing an alternate view’ are not the same thing! 3) Integrate the sources and your own knowledge simultaneously – no ‘left side brain boxing’. Fit the sources to your argument, not the other way around! 4) Conclusion – The grand finale, not a damp squib!

  3. Your Essay Tips! Sharing best practice is a pivotal element of success in any business. You task is to create a quick poster / jot / mind map that shares at least three pieces of advice you have for writing ‘B’ style questions. These will be photocopied and shared with the group. Work in pairs or individually. 5 mins. maximum!

  4. You have 100 words maximum to create a learning resource of your choice on the assigned topic. Include a picture. One of these must feature somewhere … You have 12 mins. Piece of cheese. Ratman. Sand. 1980s mobile telephone. Adidas. Ballerina. Norway.
