  2. Fox Hunting • Most commanly hunted in England. • Originated in the 16 century in the United Kingdom but spead thoughout the world. • Red fox is the most traditionaly hunted. • Banned in Scotland in 2002 and in England and Wales in November 2004. • The hunt is led by the ´Master of Foxhounds´.

  3. Views • Fox hunting is viewed as an important part of rural culture and useful for reasons of conservation and pest control, while opponents argue that it is cruel and unnecessary. • Some people have a belief supported by legislation. • Many farmers think it’s a good thing because foxes kill their livestock and eat their crops.

Pros • The fox is pest and it‘s population should be controlled. • Fox hunting is a natural form of managing the population. • It gives farmers an income who maintain the infustructure of fox hunting eg. Maintaining the maintence of the horses that are used for fox hunting. • To maintain the social and cultural cohesion of a community.

  5. Cons • If fox hunting is band many people will lose their jobs and it will cause economic loss. • The fox population will explode if fox hunting is baned.
