  2. A is for Athletes There are over 500 athletes in the Olympics! If I was an Olympian it would probably be nerve racking.

  3. B is for Bobsledding Bobsledding is a sport with 4 team mates and there are a 2 person bobsled. The 2 people in the middle of the sled are called pushers!

  4. C is for cypress mountain Cypress mountain is a place were they give away medals for Snow boarding and all kinds of skiing! It also is a place for many more sports. 

  5. D is for Denmark Denmark is a country that is famous for there Tulips and they’re Amber! It is one of the smallest countries!

  6. E is for Enright, Adam Adam Enright plays men’s curling and he is Canadian. His birthday is November 16th 1983 and he is 26! 

  7. F is for France France is a large country in Europe. Paris is the capital city and it has 2,175,200 people.

  8. G is for gold A gold medal is one of the greatest honor to have. It means that the athletes that have trained for years have done their best to win gold.

  9. H is for Hockey Every one knows that hockey is Canada’s game. This year in the Olympics we won gold, and that’s what we hoped for! The first All Star game was in 1947 it was actually played in Canada in 1885. Hockey is also the best game Canada has every made.

  10. I is for Inukshuk The inukshuk is this year’s Olympic symbol. Inukshuk are a stone man that points the way. And it is markers and guidelines.

  11. J is for J-tear The J-tear is a trick for snowboarding. It was named after Mike Jacoby. It is when a athlete rotates roughly 540 degrees front- pant and has one or two hands on the wall.

  12. K is for Kim donghyun Kim Donghyun is a bobsledder that is from Korea. He is 22 and his birthday is November 12 1987.

  13. L is for luge Luge is a sport in the Olympics. It was first heard of in 1905 by savory/ Swiss. Luge means in French “small coasting sled”. Meaghan Simister is a Canadian athlete that does the luge.

  14. M is for medals Medals are when you have done your best and you have completed your goal. There are three kinds of medals gold, silver, and bronze.

  15. N is for Normal Hill Normal hill is a sport term from ski jumping. A small hill of the two Olympic ski jumps.

  16. O is for Olympics Olympics is the thing that bring our families together!!! Watching the Hockey game or listening to the updates. Olympics is what it’s all about.

  17. P is for Podium The podium is an athletes dream, just to stand on there on the lowest step or the highest one. It’s still magical!!!!

  18. Q is for Quatchi Quatchi is one of the Mascot's that are for the Olympics!!!

  19. R is for Russia Russia has 15 medals and that puts them in 6th place.

  20. S is for Seabrook, Brent Brent Seabrook is 24 and he plays Hockey. He lives in Canada and he was born on April 20th 1985.

  21. T is for Twenty-Ten Twenty-ten is a year that people are going to be talking about like “I miss the good old days in 2010.”

  22. U is for USA The USA has 37 medals and that puts them on top at 1st place with the medals!!!

  23. V is for Venue There are so many Venue’s in the Olympics like Whistler ,Richmond Olympic Oval and many more.

  24. W is for With glowing hearts With glowing hearts is the Olympic motto. With glowing hearts is a piece out of O Canada.

  25. X is for EXTREME Extreme is the word that athletes live on the edge from speed skating to snowboarding!!! Shaun White!!!

  26. Y is for Yoshizawa ,Jumpei Jumpei Yoshizawa is 24 and does short track speed skating. He lives in Japan.

  27. Z is for Zamboni A zamboni is something that cleans the ice after every period in a hockey game!!!
