Join us on December 9, 2013, to exchange insights on Semantic Registries, focusing on both technological and organizational aspects. Explore development efforts and tools across various communities. Learn from experts and participate in discussions to shape the future of ISOcat and beyond.
E N D
Why this Workshop? • TLA/MPI-PL experiences with a Semantic Registry called ISOcat • ISOcat2007 - 2013 • MPI as RA since 2008 • We have learned many things about Data Categories, standardization aspects, and especially the need for coordination when trying to elicit DCs/concepts • Currently we are evaluation our experiences and decide about our options for the ISOcat future
But there is a Wider World • Share our experiences with Semantic Registries • Not only on technological aspects • … but also the organizational • Need to see what other communities do or are planning • Can we share development efforts? • Are there (more) general purpose tools that meet our requirements?
