  5. Increase in Sea Level Daily sea level for Apia (1993 to 2005 ), relative to mean sea level. Also shown is the linear trend in sea level over the same period (3.7mm)

  6. Increase in extreme water temperatures (influenced by ENSO)

  7. Increase in damaging winds Annual maximum wind gusts recorded at Apia for the period from 1993 to 2005. There is a large inter annual variability and the maximum gust of 61 knots (31.2m/s) was recorded in January 2004 during Cyclone Heta.
