CHALLENGES: • Short staff in all areas • Recruitment of Physicians very difficult – 6months or more • Salaries of Specialist are low compare with our neighboring countries • Philippines Oversea Employment Agency for recruitment • PLAN: • Fill all vacancies by the end of fiscal year 2008 • Update position description for all employees

FACILITY • The main Hospital is 30 years old with 90 beds capacity • Renovation of the Wards about 60% completed • The warehouse partially renovated • 10 Dispensaries outer island (5) proper (5) • Most of the Dispensaries need renovation • Public Health Building need immediate Renovation • PENDING PROJETS • New Primary Health Facility • Dental Annex • Second Story for the Community Health Center
