  3. OUR PLANET SHOULD BE CALLED ‘WATER’ 75% of Earth is water

  4. At home we use most water in our bathrooms: nearly 80% WATCH OUT FOR BROKEN FAUCETS OVER 13 % OF WATER CAN BE WASTED

  5. ONLY 20 % IS USED BY HOUSEHOLDS SAVING ENERGY MEANS SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT AND GLOBAL WATER RESERVES INDUSTRIES USE MOST WATER ALL OVER THE WORLD

  6. WATER COMSUMPTIONIN INDUSTRY &PRIVATE HOUSEHOLDS in our region • Industrial plants of our region use over 1 mln dam3 (cubic decameters) per year (1 billion m3 ) • 70 000 dam3 (70 million m3) of water is used by individual households • 1 dam3 = 1000 m3

  11. Let’s educate our community • Save water • Use environmentally friendly washing-up liquids, shampoos etc. • Keep areas around seas, lakes and rivers clean • Educate the others

Kto prawdziwe czuć niezdolny, Ten się szumem słowa pieści - Potok głośny a swawolny Mało wody w sobie mieści. Lecz spokojnej cisza toni Zwykle wielką głąb zwiastuje - Na wiatr uczuć swych nie trwoni, Kto głęboko w duszy czuje!

  17. Quite interesting essays are written in chemistry lessons Our common European target is to improve quality of water and make sure water lasts for future generations. Industry has done quite a lot not to pollute water resources. We are lucky there is something like „water cycle”, where water makes water. A lot of legislation about improving the quality of water has already been put into practice.

  18. Older students talked to small ones about water. Below is their favourite comment on water. WHY IS WATER WET? This question cannot be answered with regular science methodology, but can be answeredin Water is wet because this is the nature of water. The nature of rock is to be hard. The nature of grass is to be green. ZEN PHYSICS The nature of water is to be wet.

TOGETHER SMALL AND BIG ONESPREPARED „BLUE CODE” FOR SCHOOL • WE WILL TURN OFF THE TAPS WHEN WASHING OUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND LET IT RUN ONLY WHEN RINSING. • WE WILL USE THE RAIN-WATER TO WATER OUR PLANTS. • WE WILL INFORM OUR TEACHERS OF ANY LEAKS WE OBSERVE. • WE WILL TURN OFF THE TAP IF WE SEE WATER RUNNING WITHOUT ANY NEED. • WE WILL REMIND EACH OTHER WITH A SMILE ABOUT OUR ‘BLUE CODE’

  21. THE SOOTHING, BLISSFUL INFLUENCE OF WATER Water brings comfort to our minds, bodies and souls, when tired and stressed, we can sit at the seashore, by a river bank or by the lake and fully relax.

  22. RESEARCH INTO POLISHSTUDENTS’ FAVOURITE BODY/FORM OF WATERSHOWED THAT: • WATERFALL IS OUR WINNER
