Steering/ Chassis • Rebuilt steering system to eliminate play • Parts were sent off to be powder-coated • New brackets for rear brake assembled • Chassis of EE car strengthen
Engine • Engine sent to Briggs and Stratton for repairs • Visited Gerhard Maier to learn about engine tuning • Continuing work to design new lightweight flywheel • Goal to have engine tuned and running by end of March
Drivetrain • Designed new clutch to CVT adapter • Plan to being construction this week • Started construction of rear drivetrain for EE car • Plan to start CVT testing • Reduced weight of engine plate.
Electrical • Started prototype of Motor control unit for EE car • Received batteries and motor for EE car • Plan to have Power Management System IC Board for gas car printed
