Transition & Assessment Update: Important Considerations for Certification Bodies

2. SR001 – Current Revision 4 Nov 2011 • SR001 FAQ – Current Revision 14 Dec 2011 • www.iaqg.org/oasis • ALL America’s CB’s completed the transition (in OASIS) • SR001 going through revisions again

3. Current Activity with CBs Some Things to Watch for During Assessments • Matrices received early Dec 2011 and early Jan 2012 • No CB’s were suspended for lack of matrix received • Clients that did not schedule their audit by 4 Jan 2012 should be suspended or being suspended. • If not, action should be taken by ANAB (NCR’s, suspension)

4. Current Activity with CBs Some Things to Watch for During Assessments • CB’s that did not complete their 2011 required audits (of their clients) action should be taken by ANAB (NCR’s, suspension). • CB’s should be processing certificates within 90 days of the audit, some audit activity is going longer (NCR’s, re-audits, etc.); what action is the CB taking on the certificate if over 90 days? • Some clients proceeding with transition audit when they are not prepared, taking NCR’s, delaying suspension.

5. NEW Activity with CBs Coming Soon- Will notify CB’s ASAP, via Heads Up • Matrices are to be maintained • New tallies will be required by the CB’s on a monthly basis • SR001 Revision

Lessons Learned • Make sure decision making person/people are competent • SR001 • 9101D • Make sure required 9101 documentation is fully completed • Make sure audits are completed as required / scheduled. • FAQ’s (more recent changes) • Conducting an audit to the old standards • Transfers • Special Audits • ANAB sending assessors that successfully passed the AATT training to office assessments
